Project Overview:  replace the existing bonnets with new tubular steel monopoles for both lines between the existing Baird Substation (Stratford) and existing Congress Substation (Bridgeport) , for a total distance of approximately 2.3 miles 

Timing:

• Construction Completed - April, 2020

Easement Requirements:  17.65 acres of permanent easements

Project Overview:  7.3 mile transmission line rebuild between Catenary Structure B648S just east of Sasco Creek (Fairfield) and existing Congress Street Substation (Bridgeport) 

Timing: 

• Project Approval Decision anticipated in next couple months

• Detailed Engineering – Jan. 2022 to Q1 2024

• Construction Start Q1 2025

• In-service Q3 2028 

Easement Requirements:  19.25 acres of permanent easements 

Vegetation Clearing: 6.5 acres in total, 5.5 of which will be permanent
